KLAUS Color Keys - Part II

From March 2018 to May 2019 I had the incredible opportunity to help develop the color and lighting of this beautiful movie.
I will never thank enough the Art Directors Szymon Biernacki Marcin Jakubowski for trusting me, I learned so much and made so many wonderful friends during my time in Madrid. I couldn't be prouder of being part of this project.
The new lighting system that was used to light 2D characters meant having to paint a LOT of color keys, much more than are usually needed for a typical 3D movie. In total me and my partner Daniel Merchan Ruiz painted more than 900 color keys.
The general color progression is based on the beautiful colorscript of Alexis Liddell (http://alexisliddell.blogspot.com)
All of these were painted on top of layouts from the awesome Layout/Background team.
